ORATEX Dispersion hotmelt adhesive 500 ml

ORATEX^® DISPERSION HOTMELT ADHESIVE ORATEX^® dispersion hotmelt adhesive is a revolutionary product. It is a factory premixed, thermo-crosslinking 2-part adhesive that is patented worldwide and works without the odor of solvents of conventional adhesives.

Important note: • For all products, which are EASA or LBA approved, we will charge an additional expense, inspection and approval fee of 10 %. • At outside temperatures below 5 °C or above 25 °C, the ORATEX^® dispersion hotmelt adhesive can only be shipped in special thermal packaging. Current prices are available upon request.

Features: • Water-based • No irritating and harmful vapors

Contents: • Fine filter already included: up to 1 litre container: 1 fine filter, 5 litres: 5 fine filters, 10 litres: 10 fine filters.

Application: • Two layers adhesive are applied to the structure to be covered and to the areas of the fabric that will be ironed onto the structure. • Each single layer has to dry, before the second one is applied. • For the best result use our ORA-Universal foam roller (no. 08496) or the ORA-Universal brushes (no. 08497-08500) for application. • After the adhesive has dried, the fabric is ironed on and cross-linked at an ironing temperature of 85°C. • To become used to the processing we recommend to carry out a sample adhesion on a test piece. Steel surfaces need to be prepared before applying the adhesive to prevent corrosion. Aluminum surfaces need to be treated with an aluminum primer. For all our processing recommendations we assume a surface capable of bearing.

Note before use: • To avoid agglomeration please filter the glue before use! • A suitable fine filter (Art. No. 08405) is included with every ordered container.

Information: • Protect from sunlight, storage at +5°C to +25°C. • The ORATEX^® Dispersion Hotmelt Adhesive must be used within 3 months from delivery date.
